Highlights of the show include a half-hour talk show hosted by National’s Hall of Fame Engineer, with co-host National engineers Paul Rako, Paul Grohe plus a guest expert. Each program features a lively, in-depth discussion of technical topics and demonstrations of solutions for analog design engineers.
The first show will be available online beginning at 8 a.m. PDT Sept. 23, 2003, at www.national.com/bobpeaseshow, and on-demand at any time. In the premiere, Pease will highlight the use and abuse of watt-meters, and a special guest from Vishay will review FET performance.
“The Bob Pease show delivers technical information and design solutions using video and the Web—the most powerful combination of media available to learn how to get the job done,” said Pease, a staff scientist at National. “Each show is like a televised applications note that focuses on a systems solution in an interactive, informative, and entertaining format.”
Viewers of the Bob Pease Show will see a screen divided into three sections—a video window, a presentation window, and a window of Web pages with technical content updated constantly throughout the broadcast. From the show home page, viewers may also link to other informative National sites such as Analog University, Knowledge Base, Featured Communities and the WEBENCH™ tool set.
