TestComposer software, a new module from the company's ObjectGEODE line, is claimed to be the first solution to automatically generate test cases from design models in real time. The module includes test objectives that describe which feature or component of the system must be tested. Functional-requirement objectives can be provided by the user or structural-coverage objectives can be computed by the application. Test suites are generated either in message sequence charts (MSC) or tree and tabular combined notation (TTCN). An API is provided to produce other formats, such as those used by in-house testing tools. As a result of these capabilities, the application can integrate with almost any proprietary testing environment. Pricing starts at $10,000.
