The high-precision FRFC 0805 flip-chip resistor delivers load-life stability of ±0.005% (50 ppm) at 70°C and rated power for 2000 hours.
The high-precision FRFC 0805 flip-chip resistor delivers load-life stability of ±0.005% (50 ppm) at 70°C and rated power for 2000 hours. Based on the Vishay Foil Resistors (VFR) brand of next-generation Bulk Metal Z1-Foil technology, the device maintains a typical temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) of ±0.005/°C from 0°C to +60°C and ±0.2 ppm/°C from −55°C to +125°C (+25°C ref.). Power TCR is 5 ppm at rated power, and tolerances run tight to ±0.01%. The flip-chip configuration saves up to 35% of board space when compared with a surface-mount type with wraparound terminations. The FRFC 0805’s resistance ranges from 5 Ω to 8 kΩ. Other features include power ratings to 200 mW at +70°C, a rise time of 1.0 ns with effectively no ringing, thermal stabilization time of <1 second (within 10 ppm of steady-state value), and current noise of 0.010 µV rms/V of applied voltage (< −40 dB).
