Reporting the industry's lowest power consumption levels, the ADC100/120 families of a/d converters target DTV and HDTV receivers, base station transceivers, communications receivers, data acquisition systems, medical imaging equipment, and consumer video systems. The 10-bit ADC10080, ADC10065 and ADC10040 parts consume 78 mW at 80 Msamples/s, 68 mW at 65 Msamples/s, and 55 mW at 40 Msamples/s, respectively. They feature a precision 1.2V internal reference and differential inputs that provide a full-scale selectable input swing of 2Vp-p, 1.5Vp-p, or 1Vp-p. Other features include a 400-MHz, -3 dB bandwidth and pin-compatibility. The 5V, 12-bit ADC12020 and ADC12010 are pin-compatible with the company's existing ADC12040, ADC12L063 and ADC12L066 12-bit converters. The ADC12020 consumes 185 mW at 20 Msamples/s while the ADC12010 dissipates160 mW at 10 Msamples/s. In 28-lead TSSOPs, prices for ADC10080, ADC10065 and ADC10040 are $8.77, $6.56 and $5.42 each/1,000, respectively, while ADC12010 and ADC 12020 in LQFPs are priced at $5.85 and $8.57 each/1,000, respectively.
