The IRM046U, IRM046U, IRM046U, IRM046U, and IRM046U RF power amplifiers claim to extend WLAN communication ranges in either single- or dual-band configurations by up to 1.3 times compared to currently available devices. Depending on the amplifier, they support either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz single-band or 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual-band configurations in North America. Gains range from 20 dB to 30 dB with output powers from 18 dBm to 25 dBm, dependent on the device. Power consumption ranges from 70 mA to 220 mA. Each amplifier comes in a 24-pin package that provides a migration path to more advanced power amplifiers over time. Price for the IRM046U is $1.62 each/10,000.
