Coming on the scene as the first precision JFET amplifier in an SC70 package, the AD8627 features single-supply operation from 5V to 26V and lower input bias currents than its predecessor, the AD820. The device exhibits a maximum offset voltage of 500 µV and a maximum input bias current of 1 pA. Providing rail-to-rail output and near rail-to-rail input makes it suitable for use as a d/a or a/d converter buffer. Other features include a 5 MHz bandwidth and an operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C. Price is $1.69 each/1,000. The amp is also available in an 8-lead SOIC package.
