Expanding the company's linear product portfolio into the low power, high-precision arena, the MCP6031, MCP6032, MCP6033, and MCP6034 (MCP603X) op amps specify a quiescent current of 900 nA and a bandwidth of 10 kHz with a maximum voltage offset of 150 µV at 25°C. With an operating voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V, the amplifiers can run off of two 1.5V battery cells under full battery utilization. Their rail-to-rail input/output structure promises greater dynamic range and better performance across the entire operating-voltage range. Additionally, support for the MCP603X comes by way of FilterLab filter-design software, which provides full schematic diagrams with component values and frequency-response displays. Prices range from $0.53 to $1.26 each/10,000. MICROCHIP TECHNOLOGY INC., Chandler, AZ. (888) 628-6247.
