The VFJA905 jitter attenuator, an integrated clock/PLL timing solution for 1G and 10G synchronous Ethernet applications, features two LVCMOS outputs with a frequency of 25 MHz, lockable to an input reference frequency. Two select inputs, S1 and S0, allow users to select one of three preset input frequencies or a free-run mode. Selectable input frequency range is from 8 kHz to 200 MHz and output frequency ranges from 10 MHz to 200 MHz. Output jitter from 12 kHz to 20 MHz is 0.18 ps RMS. Additionally, the component operates from a 3.3V supply and measures 19.5 mm x 15.5 mm in a surface-mount, RoHS-compliant package. For price, call VALPEY FISHER CORP., Hopkinton, MA. (800) 982-5737.
