The SRF-1016, a silicon germanium (SiGe) IF receiver/demodulator, targets 2G, 3G and other wireless applications. Operating from 10 MHz to 300 MHz, the SRF-1016 covers typical 2G/3G intermediate frequencies, and provides 40 dB of gain control, with an amplitude and phase error of the demodulated inputs of typically < 0.1 dB and < 1°, respectively. Gain is digitally controlled in 20 dB steps using standard CMOS logic levels. Output 1 dB compression point is +5 dBm at all gain settings and noise figure is 6 dB at +35 dB. Operating voltage is 5V.
