Designed to maximize the efficiency and flexibility of long haul, ultra long haul, and metro core networks, the Apollo MEMs-based, widely tunable external cavity laser (ECL) delivers up to 20 mW of output power. The laser is continuously tunable across the entire C-Band and features a narrow line-width (the line-width is less than 2 MHz).
Side mode suppression ratio (SMSR) is greater than 50 dB and relative intensity noise (RIN) is less than -145 dB/Hz. Other features include a wavelength accuracy of ±2.5 GHz and a power stability of ±0.25 dB, eliminating the need for additional equipment to maintain a clear and consistent signal.
