Pre-certified EZLinkLTE modules have been selected by three manufacturers, all first-time customers, to power new tablet and mobile PC devices.

Sequans’ EZLinkLTE family of products are single-mode LTE modules that combine baseband, RF, and key interfaces in a single package, offering significant time-to-market advantages. Pre-certified EZLinkLTE modules have been selected by three manufacturers, all first-time customers, to power new tablet and mobile PC devices for the US market. Two of the EZLinkLTE modules, the VZ20Q surface mountable module for CE and M2M devices, and the VZ20M M.2 interface module for tablets and PCs, have received recent certification by Verizon Wireless. VZ21M, a VZ20M variant that includes GNSS for location services, is also available. The VZ20Q and VZ20M modules are certified compliant with Verizon Wireless Open Network specifications and operate on LTE bands 4 and 13. A single, compact package is comprised of the company’s Mont Blanc LTE platform baseband chip and all other elements necessary for a complete LTE modem system, including an LTE-optimized transceiver, a complete dual-band RF front-end for bands 4 and 13, key interfaces, LP-DDR SDRAM, embedded boot Flash and VC-TCXO.
