3850 MHz Model Added To Ultra Low Phase Noise VCO Series

Jan. 31, 2014
Operating at 3850 MHz with a control voltage range of 0.5 V ~ 4.5 V, the VCO provides a typical phase noise of -110 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset.

The CVCO55CC-3850-3850 is the latest addition to Crystek’s CVCO55CC voltage controlled oscillator series. Operating at 3850 MHz with a control voltage range of 0.5 V ~ 4.5 V, the VCO is coaxial resonator-based, providing a typical phase noise of -110 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset. Input voltage is 8 V and output power is typically +7 dBm. Pulling and pushing are minimized to 1 MHz and 0.2 MHz/V, respectively, and second harmonic suppression is -15 dBc typical. Designed for narrow band applications, the technology also features a maximum current consumption of 35 mA with excellent linearity throughout its tuning range. Engineered and manufactured in the USA, the CVCO55CC-3850-3850 is housed in the industry-standard 0.5" x 0.5" SMD package and is suited for use in applications such as digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications systems and base stations.
