NXP Semiconductors is showing off the IW612 Tri-Radio Transceiver at CES 2022. It combines Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 802.15.4 support in one package. It targets border routers that are often found in smart-home applications. It also supports the Matter IoT protocol. I talked with NXP's Larry Olivas to find out more about its features and target applications.
