For data-acquisition duties, the SeaI/OTM family, a modular I/O system, offers selectable connectivity and a wide variety of I/O types for distributed control requirements. Connectivity options to the host device include Ethernet (Modbus/TCP), RS-485 (Modbus/RTU), USB, or RS-232. Multiple units of any I/O type can be daisy chained together using pass-through connectors. Five I/O models are available with optically-isolated inputs, reed-relay outputs, and form C relay outputs. The modules operate from 9V to 30V, and power can be input via a terminal block or a dc jack. Both table-mount and DIN-rail mounting options are available with an operating temperature range of 0°C to 70°C. Single-unit prices start at $249.
