Working as a team, Interface Concept and ACT/Technico introduce the IC-GRA-PMCa, described as a high-performance, COTS graphics PMC. The EEE 1386-compliant card exploits a Carmine MB86297 GPU, which is Fujitsu's third generation graphics processor, and features 2D/3D geometry processing, pixel-processing hardware, and video capture. It offers 3D performance up to 10 Mpolygons/s, considered the highest rendering performance available with the lowest power consumption. Other features include 128 MB of DDR memory at 266 Mb/s, two video outputs with resolutions up to 1,280 x 1,024 at 60 Hz, and DVI, VGA, RGB, and STANAG interfaces. Each digital video output port allows transparent processing and two video inputs support an SVGA capture resolution. Additionally, the card provides two CVBS/S-Video/YUV capture interfaces and a video decoder. Software support is available for Linux with options for VxWorks and other operating systems available upon request. Pricing starts at $2,500 each. ACT/TECHNICO, Warminster, PA. (215) 956-1200.
