Enabling multiple configurations for connecting 1-Gb appliances to 10-Gb networks, the Niagara 2810 aggregator switch family features a four 10-Gb port switch with an additional 24-Gb port and active bypass switch capabilities. The system supports two independent 10-GB segments that support aggregation, TAP, filtering, and load balancing. Control is via a 64 bit MIPS controller that provides full CLI and GUI management. The management system includes secure web UI via HTTPS, secure shell (SSH), SNMP, e-mail notification upon special events, and trunk configuration.
