The Discovery development system for symmetrical multiprocessing (SMP) applications employs the company's Discovery GT-64260 system controller, two Motorola MPC7450 PowerPC processors and the QNX RTOS. The Discovery EV-64260-2XMPC7450 development system targets communications applications where the performance of a SMP architecture is required. It showcases Discovery's high-performance crossbar architecture in conjunction with Motorola's advanced PowerPC MPC7450 processor and high-bandwidth MPX bus. The development system enables customers to expedite their product development and validate the interoperability between the system controller and the PowerPC processors.
