The company has introduced advanced run-mode debugging support for applications using the ThreadX real-time operating system and ARM9E processor. The debugging mode is said to simplify the design of sophisticated multithreaded applications by enabling users to debug those applications on a thread-by-thread basis while the application continues to run.
Each time a thread hits a breakpoint, the application stops that thread and opens a source-debug Window specific to that thread. Users can single-step or browse through the halted thread and read memory and registers without disrupting program execution. Pricing starts at $15,400 and additional licenses can be added for $5,900 per user.
