Measuring 6.2-mm wide, the IMS interface modules handle simple analog signal conversion chores in space-constrained designs. The modules convert current and voltage signals from a wide range of applications with an analog-signal transmitter that achieves 0.1% full scale. Modules are also available for transferring temperature signals from thermocouple, RTD, and other devices using Pt-100 technology, achieving 0.3% of full scale and available with two-, three-, or four-wire connections. Configurable via a lateral-mount DIP switch, the modules provide complete galvanic isolation plus up to 2.5 kV of isolation for the input, output, and power supply. One- and two-channel modules without signal conditioning are also available. TURCK INC., Minneapolis, MN. (800) 553-0016.
