Bolstered by the Intel Atom quad-core E3845 processor, ADLINK Technology’s Matrix MXC-2300 fanless, expandable embedded computer pushes computing performance using less power. Visual-processing capabilities also get a boost thanks to Intel Gen 7 HD graphic technology (Ivy Bridge GPU). A built-in dual-port isolated CAN bus with SJA1000 controller delivers bus arbitration and error detection with real-time data transmission to help minimize data loss and improve system reliability. Its16-CH isolated DI and 16-CH isolated DO empower general industrial control and accelerate data transfers. Expandability is made possible thanks to three PCI/PCIe expansion slots and one mini-PCIe socket. I/O includes one USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports, four COM ports, and two Intel Gigabit Ethernet ports. Rugged construction offers operating shock tolerance of up to 50 G and an operating temperature ranging from ‒20 to 70°C. Mean time between failure (MTBF) is 420,000 hours. Applications include machine automation, machine vision, intelligent transportation systems, and maritime automation.
