As new CPUs, GPUs, SoCs, and MCUs hit the market, manufacturers are incorporating them into embedded systems that are more capable, efficient, and packed with many different hardware options. AMD’s Ryzen Embedded V1000/R1000 series has become a popular platform in the embedded space. But Xilinx, Intel and Texas Instruments have also released new embedded chips, so we can expect the competition ramp up between manufacturers in 2020.
