Carbon Design Systems’ ARM Cortex-A57 Carbon Performance Analysis Kit (CPAK) makes possible the debug and analysis of 64-bit executables. It comes with pre-built software code to configure and exercise the systems. According to the company, designers can become productive with the user-customizable multicore, multi-cluster CPAKs within minutes of download. The kits include a new version of the Carbon Traffic Generator and System analyzer as well as support for ARM Fast Models 8.2. A model of the ARM CoreLink NIC-400 network interconnect supports Carbon Design’s Swap & Play technology, which allows for swapping from a virtual prototype executing at hundreds of MIPS to an equivalent virtual prototype running with 100% hardware accuracy.
