Digi-Key Corporation has signed a worldwide distribution agreement with Power Integrations, a supplier of high-voltage analog integrated circuits (ICs) used in power conversion. A global distributor of electronic components, Digi-Key currently ships product in more than 140 countries.
Power Integrations' ICs enable manufacturers to produce small, simple, energy-efficient power supplies for an array of consumer and industrial electronic products. The company’s EcoSmart technology dramatically reduces the amount of energy wasted by power supplies, allowing manufacturers to meet all current and proposed energy efficiency regulations for electronic products.
