Regulator Boasts Low Dropout Voltage and Low Noise

July 9, 2008
The AS1364 low dropout regulator (LDO) delivers up to 1 A while maintaining a dropout voltage of just 140 mV and low noise performance

From austriamicrosystems, the AS1364 low dropout regulator (LDO) delivers up to 1 A while maintaining a dropout voltage of just 140 mV and low noise performance. Designed with portable applications in mind, the LDO also features a quiescent current of 35 μA during operation, which falls to 10 nA during shutdown.

Device type: ultra low dropout regulator
Input voltage range: 2 V to 5.5V
Output voltage range: 1.2 V to 5.0 V (adjustable or with pre-programmed output) Output voltage accuracy: 0.75%.
