Housing all functions required for control, drive, and regulation in flyback and forward power supplies, the LM5020 single-ended converter integrates a 100V bias regulator, current-mode PWM controller, 1.5A power MOSFET driver, and high-frequency control circuitry. Packaged in a 4 mm x 4 mm CSP, target applications include power over Ethernet (PoE) and as a bias-supply controller in 42V, 36V, and high availability distributed power systems. Features include total propagation delays of less than 100 ns, a programmable 1-MHz oscillator, and programmable line under-voltage lockout with hysteresis.
