The AP4034 family of 30-V, N-channel, enhancement-mode power MOSFETs comes in several package options to meet an array of cost/performance points. They offer fast switching performance and a 15-nC typical gate charge. Three members comprise the family developed by Advanced Power Electronics Corp. The AP4032GMT-HF-3 features 8-mΩ maximum on-resistance and a drain-source current rating of 44.3 A. It comes in a PMPAK5x6 package with a thermal pad and SO-8 footprint. The AP4034GM-HF-3, which comes in an SO-8 package, has a 9-mΩ maximum on-resistance and drain-source current rating of 13 A. The AP4034GYT-HF also has a 9-mΩ maximum on-resistance, but with a drain-source current rating of 15.5 A. It’s housed in a PMPAK3x3 package with a backside heatsink and 1.0-mm profile—suitable for compact dc-dc converter applications.
