The PowerBank family of low-profile power supplies now includes a series with power-factor correction (PFC) capability. Designated PowerBank PB1506PFC, the series can deliver 1,200W at 110 Vac and 1,500W at 220 Vac. The unit, while designed with 19" rack applications in mind, can also function as a stand-alone box. The PB1506PFC measures 16.84" x 12.6" x 1.75" and its many mounting options make it suitable for a variety of applications. Internal fans provide cooling. The new unit resembles the original PB1005AC in terms of connectivity, so users can upgrade from the autoranging input to PFC input. Pricing starts at $1.42 each/100. VICOR CORP., Andover, MA.
