An enhancement of the existing UPStation GX line of uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs), the new UPStation GXT UPS has many more features, as well as updated technology. The GXT is available in five sizes: 700, 1,000, 2,000 and 3,000 VA for 120 Vac and 230 Vac applications. Its "true on-line power protection" technology is said to reduce the chances of harmful potential power problems from reaching the connected equipment. These include spikes, surges, overvoltage, electrical noise and other transients, sags, outages, and even hard to track harmonics and frequency variations that are common with standby generator equipment.
The UPSstation GXT comes with a raft of standard features. These include: Easy Swap, user replaceable batteries; user-installable Ethernet SNMP through the Intellislot communications port; RS-232 communications to make the UPS ready to monitor with the company's SiteNet 1 or 2 software kits; and improved input power factor of 0.97 minimum.
