Delivering up to 300W for medical apps primarily, the EFE300M series digitally controlled power supplies carry approvals for IEC/EN/UL/CSA 60950-1 for general purpose applications, IEC/EN 61010-1 for laboratory and process-control applications and IEC 60601-1 for medical equipment. With a 4-kVac reinforced input to output isolation and an output-to-ground isolation of 1.5 kVac, the units are suitable for use in B and BF type medical applications. Regulated DC outputs of 12 or 24 Vdc are standard with other voltage options available. Other features include efficiencies up to 90%, an eight-bit microcontroller for full digital control of the output and to handle housekeeping routines, remote on/off and power-good signals, a 5V/2A isolated standby supply, an ORing FET for redundant operation, and a 300W continuous output power, 400W peak for 10s. Prices start at $183 each/500. TDK-LAMBDA, San Diego, CA. (800) 526-2324.
