Distributor and Semiconductor Firm Announce Agreement

Digi-Key and Cree have signed a distribution agreement for Cree's silicon carbide-based power devices. This agreement makes Cree’s power devices available in the U.S. through distribution for the first time. Prior to this agreement, U.S. customers could only obtain these SiC components directly from Cree.

Cree is an innovator and manufacturer of silicon carbide semiconductors that improve energy efficiency through reduced forward voltages. Digi-Key is currently stocking Cree's Schottky diodes with voltage ratings ranging from 300 V to 1200 V and current ratings from 1 A to 20 A.
