A compact wireless charger solution from Volonic is based on Aira's FreePower technology, which uses an intelligent Qi coil grid to address device placement issues and accelerate user adoption. We talk to Shawn Dougherty, Founder of Volonic and COO of Society Brands, about this solution and the technology it's based on. Called FreePower, it leverages the Qi coil grid to detect any device wherever it's placed on the charging surface.
