MET Labs and AT4 Wireless Partner on Telecom Equipment Testing

April 15, 2013. MET Laboratories and AT4 wireless have signed an agreement to cooperate on testing for mobile equipment in order to provide clients of both parties the opportunity for a complete testing solution that includes MET’s regulatory certification services and AT4 wireless’ range of conformance testing of mobile and other telecom equipment.

MET Laboratories will provide A2LA-accredited EMC, RF, safety, and SAR (specific absorption ratio) regulatory testing and certification required in the North American marketplace.

MET will also provide Radiated Spurious Emissions (RSE) testing for mobile communications and regulatory certification.

AT4 wireless will provide mobile communications conformance certification and carriers´ related testing services including RF, protocol, RRM (radio resource management), and OTA (over the air) testing services and Type Approval/Certification. These services will be provided at AT4 wireless’ U.S. facilities in Herndon, VA, and San Jose, CA, or at any other AT4 wireless international location in Europe, Latin America, or Asia/Pacific.
