Autotest sees MIL/aero product and technology highlights
St. Louis, MO. Many companies—including Aeroflex, Astronics Test Systems, Copper Mountain Technologies, Keysight Technologies, JTAG Technologies, Marvin Test Solutions, Pacific Power Source, Pickering Interfaces, Teradyne, UEI, and VTI Instruments—made good to highlight their products and services as described in our pre-event report.
In addition, Aeroflex, Teradyne, Pickering, Keysight, Pacific Power Source, and Teradyne released new information about new products and technologies.
For example, Aeroflex chose Autotest to announce a 26.5-GHz high-frequency extension for the 7700 Integrated Microwave Test System. (Click here for more.)
Teradyne formally introduced its Spectrum HS test system, which joins the company's family of functional ATE systems. (Click here for more.)
Pickering Interfaces launched four new switching modules, including a new PXI signal-insertion and monitor matrix and updates to the company's PXI microwave multiplexers, PXI high-density large matrix BRIC range, and PXI fault-insertion switches. (Click here for more.)
Keysight Technologies presented its new M9290A CXA-m PXIe signal analyzer, which delivers fully specified performance up to 26.5 GHz. (Click here for more.)
And Pacific Power Source Inc. announced the release of its latest suite of test routines specifically designed to test AC products for compliance with Department of Defense Interface Standard Mil-Std-1399-300, “Aircraft Electric Power Characteristics.” This new software option expands Pacific Power Source Inc.’s growing portfolio of defense-related power compliance test options. Also as promised, Pickering Interfaces, in addition to its new product launches described above, showcased its complete LXI switching and PXI switching solutions as well as microwave multiplexers, including a medium-density PXI switch matrix, an update to its line of PXI microwave multiplexers, and an update to its PXI BRIC range. Pickering also featured the new LXI high-density matrix with scalable construction—offering a matrix size from 384×4 to 1024×4 with up to 4096 crosspoints in a 1U configuration.
In addition, Acculogic highlighted its suite of PC-based hardware and software tools designed for the testing of electronic devices, boards, and systems using the IEEE 1149.1 and IEEE 1149.6 standards.
And ADLINK demonstrated a wind-tunnel test system, radar-signal test system, a USB DSA module running a live vibration test, and a high-performance PXI Express embedded controller.

Finally, Copper Mountain Technologies highlighted its line of USB vector network analyzers and reflectometers. Instruments range from the full-size 19-in. Planar 804/1 VNA, which operates from 100 kHz to 8 GHz, down to the compact Planar R54 and Planar R140 reflectometers. The R140 measures s11 to 14 GHz.
