Keysight Technologies announced it will exhibit its PCI Express (PCIe) design-and-test solutions at the PCI-SIG Developers Conference 2015 in Santa Clara June 23-24.
Keysight will demonstrate a broad range of solutions, including PCIe Hot TDR measurement capability, the Physical Layer Test System (PLTS), PCIe/NVMe protocol tests, PCIe transmitter and receiver tests, and PCIe and USB design simulation tools. Keysight will demonstrate over 25 hardware and software products, created to help engineers address the design and measurement challenges of today and tomorrow.
Keysight will highlight the following new products at the event:
- U4305B-E04 Exerciser with L1 substate analysis for validation of 2.5-, 5-, and 8-Gb/s PCIe technology and LTSSM operation;
- M8020A J-BERT high-performance BERT capabilities to address adjustable ISI and Interactive link training for PCI Express technology; and
- Advanced Design System (ADS) simulation elements, including the W2352EP compliance test bench for PCI Express and the W2353EP compliance test bench for USB.
“Keysight Technologies has been a long-time member of PCI-SIG, developing test tools for PCI Express design and measurement solutions,” said Al Yanes, PCI-SIG president and chairman. “Products such as these help ensure that PCI-SIG members have the necessary test instruments for validating interoperability of devices using PCIe technology.”
Keysight’s solutions for digital applications are driven and supported by Keysight experts who are involved in various international standards committees. Keysight experts are active in the Joint Electronic Devices Engineering Council (JEDEC), PCI Special Interest Group (PCI-SIG), Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA), Serial ATA International Organization (SATA-IO), USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF), Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI) Alliance, Ethernet standards (IEEE 802.3), Optical Internetworking Forum (OIF), and many others. Keysight is committed to involvement in standards groups and related workshops, plugfests, and seminars to ensure the right test solutions are created to meet customers’ evolving needs.
PCI-SIG is the consortium that owns and manages PCI specifications as open industry specifications. The organization defines I/O (input/output) specifications consistent with the needs of its members. Currently, PCI-SIG includes nearly 800 member companies.
