Accelerating time to market for IEEE802.16e products, the E6651A debuts as the market's first mobile WiMAX test set. Reportedly, it will allow WiMAX subscriber station designers and manufacturers to rapidly move from development to volume production and to improve the integrity and quality of their products while reducing cost. The E6651A provides a full suite of RF measurements for characterization, calibration and verification purposes, and is extendable with test, stress, and debug IP-data handling capabilities. Additionally, the test set exhibits the flexibility to configure a range of network parameters through a Windows XP interface. Other features include base station emulation and parametric tests.
