The Model TS transducer simulator simulates the millivolt-per-volt output of an unamplified strain gage transducer. It uses precision wire-wound resistors to ensure reliable performance. Input resistance is field-selectable to 350 or 5000 Ω. Output is selectable in five ranges: 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 5.0, and 10 mV/V. Each range can be adjusted in 10% steps to simulate the output of a wide variety of transducers. Also, this portable unit is enclosed in a rugged, weatherproof aluminum carrying case and needs no batteries or outside power supply. It requires 4.5 to 12 V dc (constant voltage only) and draws its excitation voltage from the system being tested. Connection is made via binding posts for use with wire or banana jacks. Pricing for the TS begins at $825.
