Expanding the SureGrip test accessory line, six K-type instrument compatible temperature probes employ the company's proprietary ergonomic design with soft rubber handles and easy-to-grasp shapes, said to reduce fatigue and improve contact with target surfaces. For use in liquids or gels, as well as general purpose measurement, the 8.375" 80PK-22 immersion probe handles temperatures from –40°C to +1,090°C. Measuring air and non-caustic gas temperature, the 8.5" 80PK-24 incorporates a perforated baffle around the measurement bead and specifies a range from –40°C to +816°C. The 80PK-25 and 80PT-25 piercing probes are designed for use on soft or semi-hard materials and offer measurement ranges from –40°C to +260°C and –196°C to +350°C, respectively. For general-purpose surface and air measurements, the 8" 80PK-26 tapered probe provides a temperature range from –40°C to +816°C. The 80PK-27 industrial-grade probe addresses flat or slightly curved surfaces with a range from –127°C to +600°C. Depending on the probe, prices range from $54 (80PK-22) to $199 (80PK-27).
