Designed for the four-channel WaveSurfer 400 and WaveRunner 6000A series digital storage oscilloscopes, the MS-32 mixed-signal option adds 32 digital channel support for applications such as embedded controller testing. The option combines the DSO’s four analog channels with 32 digital channels to provide a 4+32 topology. It allows users, for example, to view the 16 ADDR and 16 DATA lines of a 16-bit microcontroller in one capture, time-synchronized with up to four analog channels. Digital or analog trigger conditions can be set up to capture the event of interest. A wide variety of accessories are available for the MS-32 including additional lead sets in lengths of 26.55 cm or 35.55 cm, Mictor cables, and micrograbbers in a variety of sizes. Included with the MS-32 are a 32-channel digital logic pod, oscilloscope interface module, 10.5" digital lead set, power supply, USB 2.0 cable, accessory case, and a 5x magnifying glass. Price is $3,990. LECROY CORP., Chestnut Ridge, NY. (800) 453-2769.
