Simplifying component selection/setup, the LAKIT Series laser-power alignment tuning kits contain an optical power meter, detector, and mounting assembly. They employ three detectors types: silicon (Si), Germanium (Ge), or thermopile. They operate over wavelengths from 200 nm to 10.6 mm and up to 100W average power.  The 918D Series fits low-power lasers, i.e., less than 2 W/cm2, and operates in the visible or infrared spectrum. It also integrates an OD3 attenuator.  The 818P Series thermopile detectors measure average power for high-power lasers operating in continuous-wave and pulsed modes. The broadband flat spectral response ranges from 0.19 mm to 11 mm. NEWPORT CORP., Irvine, CA. (800) 222-6440.
