Rigol Technologies is presenting several new products at electronica, encompassing oscilloscopes, analyzers, and test software. Of particular note are two new models of the DSA800 spectrum analyzer series, as well as new mixed signal oscilloscopes (MSOs) and PC software for perform standard measurements (e.g., on switching power supplies).
The DSA832 and DSA875 expand the DSA800 spectrum analyzer series to 3.2 and 7.5 GHz, respectively. With specifications that far exceed the DSA815-TG, these new instruments enable direct measurements of higher performance signals and systems. The 7.5 GHz instrument enables engineers to investigate the 3rd harmonic of all of their critical 2.4 GHz applications. Additionally, resolution bandwidth settings down to 10 Hz means more precise visualization of low power RF signals.
Besides its standard oscilloscopes, Rigol will also present the Mixed Signal Oscilloscope series MSO1000Z (70 and 100 MHz bandwidth) and MSO2000A (up to 300 MHz bandwidth). Both models simplify the detection of signal and device characteristics with comprehensive trigger functions, advanced hardware based real time waveform records, replay, search ,and analysis functions. The new multilingual user interface allows easy configuration of the oscilloscopes in the local language.
Rigol will also present the Ultra Power Analyzer Software, which enables users to perform standard measurements on switching power supplies. This new PC software allows users to set up small test systems, which represent a reasonably priced alternative for measuring switching power supply parameters during the development and production phase. Various parameters of these power supplies must be tested and have to be compliant with the European standard IEC61000-3-2.
