May 22, 2020
OEMs, Tier 1s and semiconductor vendors can now integrate Imagination’s IP with the confidence that it is ISO 26262 capable.

Imagination Technologies achieved ISO 26262 process conformance, based on an audit by HORIBA MIRA, a provider of engineering, research, and test services. ISO 26262 is the standard that addresses risk in the automotive industry by ensuring that electronic systems are designed to be functionally safe, thereby mitigating against any potential flaws that might cause failure. Imagination and HORIBA MIRA are also active contributors to the development of the automotive standards ISO 26262, ISO 21448 (SotIF), ISO/SAE 21434 (cybersecurity), and industry guidance such as the MISRA Guidelines for Automotive Safety Arguments.
