The SFS11300H-LF from Z-Communications, Inc. is a RoHS-compliant fixed frequency synthesizer that generates an output signal at 11.3 GHz while operating off an external 10 MHz reference. Its X-band PLLs output frequency is preset by an external PIC controller, eliminating the need for external programming. The SFS11300H-LF delivers ultra low phase noise of -90 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz and better than -120 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz offset. It also delivers a nominal output power of 0 dBm into a 50Ω load and operates with a VCO voltage supply of 5 Vdc while drawing 90 mA (typical) and a phase locked loop voltage of 3 Vdc while drawing 45 mA (typical). Harmonic suppression of -30 dBc and spurious suppression of -70 dBc is also utilized. The SFS11300H-LF is optimized for radar systems and test instrumentation.
