Providing critical surge protection, next-gen SMxJ and SMxT series Transils (diode arrays) maintain surge protection up to a device’s maximum junction temperature. Six series in the range handle surges from 100W to 1.5 kW. The devices meet IEC 61000-4-2 and MIL-STD-883G standards and specify an operating temperature range from -40°C to +150°C. In production now, as a pricing example, the SMX1J starts at $0.085 each/3,000. STMICROELECTRONICS, Lexington, MA. (888) 787-3550.
