Pop music and radio go back a long way. In fact, one might say that without radio, there wouldn’t be any pop music. Louis Armstrong, Bill Monroe, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and even The Beatles owed their success in large part to the airplay they received.
Many artists have repaid the favor over the decades by writing and recording pop songs that are about radio in one way or another. Which is your favorite?
