Assuming position as the industry's first PCI Express switches capable of managing all communications in high-density blade systems, the company offers a line of seven switches ranging from an 8-port, 32-lane configuration to what is claimed as the industry’s first 64-lane and 16-port device. Three devices are PCIe-based system interconnect switches that manage communications between roots and intelligent endpoints throughout a bladed system. The remaining four devices are inter-domain PCI Express switches, consisting of both 2- and 3-port devices that support address translation and non-transparent bridging between PCI Express domains. All are currently sampling to qualified customers. INTEGRATED DEVICE TECHNOLOGY INC., Santa Clara, CA. (800) 345-7015.
