Project Cassini is an open, collaborative, standards-based initiative for a cloud-native software environment for devices based on Arm Cortex-A. IoT and infrastructure edge solutions can use Cassini now, taking advantage of Arm SystemReady and PSA Certified silicon and development boards, as well as OS Linux support from the Arm ecosystem.

This addresses the rapid, exponential IoT growth on Cortex-M platforms, and leverages the collaborative effort of Arm and its partners in the Project Centauri initiative, which integrates Arm's existing software initiatives under a single microcontroller software strategy. We talk to Arm's Mohamad Awad about these and other things at the Arm booth at embedded world 2022.
