Keeping the output frequency fixed between 300 MHz to 3,000 MHz, the ACR series coaxial resonator oscillators has a minimum output power of +13 dBm. Stability is achieved using a high Q ceramic resonator in a low noise silicon FET circuit with the output buffered to minimize frequency pulling. Frequency stability over the operating temperature range is better than ±10 ppm/°C. The ACR series can stake claim to spectral purity with harmonics down at -30 dBc and spurious better than -80 dBc. For a 600 MHz unit, the typical phase noise is -95 dBc/Hz at 1 KHz offset. This figure drops to -140 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset. DC input power is kept low with typically less than 100 mA drawn from a standard +15V supply for a +13 dBm output power unit. Users can choose from a range of dc voltages on the input and up to +20 dBm at the RF output. The ACR oscillator measures 2.25" x 1.15" x 0.62" and output is via a stainless steel SMA female connector. For more details, call ATLANTIC MICROWAVE LTD., Essex, England. +44(0)1376 550220.
