Claimed as the first stainless steel "intelligent" proportional solenoid control valve, the Type 6223 Series delivers up to 1% control accuracy. Available in orifice sizes from 1/16" to 1" with CVs from 0.12 to 5.8 with pressures up to 145 psi, the valves are said to have a nearly linear characteristic operating curve. They are also available in brass. The EasyLINK feature facilitates quick connection to the company's flow, level, pressure, temperature, and analytical sensors for decentralized intelligent control loops. The continuous control solenoid valve consists of the proportional valve and the plug-on electronic control unit, which can be mounted in any position. The valve is self-closing in the event of power failure and has a double O-ring seal that protects coil and valve assemblies from moisture and corrosion for longer life.
