The company’s latest six-slot AdvancedTCA backplane comes in a Mesh topology with a flexible design that also allows for a Dual Star topology. It features standard MicroTCA connectors for connecting to an IPM Sentry shelf manager and is compact enough to fit within a 5U horizontal ATCA enclosure along with two shelf manager connectors within the card cage. Compliant to the latest PICMG 3.0 specification, other features include an 18-layer controlled-impedance stripline design and connectors for SHMC, power entry, Sense, I2C Bus, IPMB, Ring, and fan trays.
