Time-Lag Fuse Meets IEC Standard; Handles Momentary Inrush Currents
Sept. 1, 1998
Products subjected to transient surges or repetitive cycling are excellent candidates for the 446 Series of surface-mount chip fuses, with the devices engineered to withstand momentary inrush currents typically found in switching power supplies, dc/dc converters, instrumentation and battery chargers. Measuring just 6.1 x 2.5 mm, the 63V-rated fuse also complies with the new Universal Modular Fuse standard and carries both UL and VDE approvals.
